Reading the trend cycle: from spike to sold-out SKU

Most trend content spikes and fades within two to three weeks. If sourcing, sampling, and production take longer than that, the trend is often gone before stock arrives — which is why we treat speed-to-shelf as a core operating metric, not a nice-to-have.
We watch for the same signal appearing across at least two unrelated sources before committing production budget, because a single viral post is often noise rather than a durable trend.
The advertising campaign gets built in parallel with production, not after it — paused and ready to go live the moment stock lands, so we're not starting the ad-learning phase after the trend has already peaked.
